Miley Cyrus Lil’ Kim Halloween Costume: Singer Dresses Like Rapper Circa 1999, Shows Off Body In Purple, Pasty Get Up [PHOTOS]
Keeping up her string of infamous performances, suggestive dance moves and scandalous attire, Miley Cyrus is again pushing the envelope, this time with her Halloween costume. Only hours into the spooky holiday, the 20-year-old “We Can’t Stop” singer showed off photos of her Lil’ Kim costume to fans on social media Thursday.
Just like the “You Be Killin' 'Em" rapper (who is also not known for modest attire) Cyrus’ costume appears to be inspired by the now 39-year-old performer’s infamous purple getup that she wore to the 1999 MTV Video Music Awards. “Happy Halloween @LilKim” the former “Hannah Montana” star tweeted early Thursday alongside a photo that shows her sporting a purple wig, bodysuit and matching singular pasty, subsequently revealing major cleavage.
Cyrus followed up by posting multiple shots of her Halloween celebrations on social media. Despite the three images receiving a total of 1.4 million likes on Instagram and more than 764,000 retweets on Twitter as of Thursday afternoon, many followers have criticized the singer’s apparel, some calling her “trashy.” “Is that Amanda Bynes?” Twitter user @Britt_Law_ asked. Other social media users also accused her of copying fellow pop stars. “Stop copying Katy [Perry]” said lordelrey. “Follow me Lady Gaga,” cracked CakeLikeSG.
Lil’ Kim (full name Kimberly Denise Jones) quickly responded to Cyrus’s imitation outfit, calling her look “gorgeous.” “Awww. Look at my baby @mileycyrus tonight!!! Looking GORGEOUS!!! I wish I was there to squeeze your boob :) :) Love…” the rapper posted on Twitter Thursday.
Just a day before, Cyrus shared a photo of her graphic Halloween decorations. “xxxxxxplicit pornkinzzz #beware #happyf--kinghalloween" Cyrus posted on Twitter, showing one pumpkin sporting the pot-lover's mantra “4/20” and two others displaying naked individuals in various sexual positions.
