Miley Cyrus Posts Cryptic Message After Taking Off Liam Hemsworth’s Engagement Ring, Breakup Rumors Surface
Miley Cyrus sparked breakup rumors after she was spotted Monday without Liam Hemsworth’s engagement ring while leaving her Manhattan, New York, residence, Daily Mail reported. The “Wrecking Ball” singer also posted a photo of her on Instagram that showed her ring-free finger.
The diamond ring, which was given to her by Hemsworth, sparkled on her ring finger since the two rekindled their romance mid-January. However, recent reports of trouble in paradise for the couple heated up after Cyrus took the ring off her finger. Late Monday, Cyrus also posted a cryptic message on her Instagram account.
“When life is simple for animals it is beautiful,” Cyrus captioned a photo of her cat. However it was unclear if the post had anything to do with Cyrus’ rumored split.
In another cryptic post, Cyrus shared a photo of a coffee mug close to which she was holding a paper with the words: “Live through consciousness, not through emotions.” The 23-year-old did not caption the image.
Since Cyrus and Hemsworth got back together, the two have been surrounded with several wedding and pregnancy rumors. However, recent reports claimed that “The Hunger Games” star was annoyed with Cyrus over her pot addiction and warned her that it could cost her their relationship if she did not straighten up. A source told Hollywood Life earlier this month that their relationship “is definitely strained right now.”
Last month, reports surfaced that Cyrus was pushing Hemsworth to get married, causing some friction in their relationship. She was also reportedly forcing Hemsworth to sign a $176 million pre-nuptial agreement to protect her wealth — worth about $160 million — in case of a split. However, Gossip Cop debunked the reports.
OK! Magazine claimed last month that Cyrus was pregnant with Hemsworth’s child, and that she was using her rumored pregnancy to keep the 26-year-old star with her. Cyrus and Hemsworth have not responded to any of the rumors.
