Miley Cyrus Teases Fans With Short Clip Of Her Possible New Ballad
Miley Cyrus may soon release some new music. The singer posted a short video clip on Instagram where she sings a previously unheard ballad song. “New jammmmmmmmmmmm,” Miley captioned the clip.
“Why do people only show forgiveness when they wanna sound cool in a song?” the singer croons slowly while standing on a well-lit stage. The songstress sings her lyrics slowly in a typical husky voice and there is no background music. Miley rocks a “Good Vibes Only” white jumpsuit as she sings in front of a microphone that emits multicolored lights.
The 15-second clip posted by Miley has generated many positive comments from her fans who want her to release a new album after 2013's “Bangerz.” “@mileycyrus can you please put out a new full length album? "Bangerz" is just so not the direction you're in anymore,” writes a Miley fan with Instagram handle “mamaxketo_.” While other fans of Miley are of the opinion that the new song sounds “so dope” and she should release it soon.
The 22-year-old singer has not provided any information about the song. It is not clear if the new short clip is a song from her upcoming album or something that Miley is recording for other artists. According to MTV News, the clip could have been from a rehearsal for Wednesday's performance at Adult Swim’s Upfront Party at Terminal 5 in New York City. But Miley's representatives have not confirmed the report.
However, according to blogger Perez Hilton, it is not the first time that Miley has “teased this track.” In March, the singer posted a small video clip on her Instagram where she was seen in a studio recording the same lyrics. Check out the video clip here.
Miley was recently in news for some other reasons too. The “Wrecking Ball” songstress launched her Happy Hippie Foundation, which helps homeless youth and also promotes pro-LGBT causes. In a recent interview with Fox News, the singer also confessed that in the past she was in relationships that were not "straight, heterosexual" ones.
