Is Miley Cyrus Trying To Win Back Liam Hemsworth? 'Wrecking Ball' Singer Grows Her Hair Back

Singer Miley Cyrus has started growing her hair after keeping it short for two years, which may be an attempt to win back Liam Hemsworth. Cyrus, 23, had chopped off her hair in the months before the couple broke up after two years of dating, calling off their engagement in 2013.

“Miley has said in the past that Liam likes her hair better when it’s long. She hasn’t come out and said she’s growing it out to get him back, but they’re talking again and she’s still got fantasies of them getting back together and living happily ever after so it makes sense that she’d want to impress him,” a source told Hollywood Life, adding: “Liam isn’t the only guy – or girl – she’s interested in but he’s at the top of her list.”

In April, a report by Us Weekly said, citing a source that the "Wrecking Ball" singer has been “hanging out” with Hemsworth in Los Angeles, after cooling things off with Patrick Schwarzenegger, who she dated only for five months. However, the source clarified that Cyrus and Hemsworth were not together, but the magazine seemed to be optimistic about where the relationship was headed.

Since the April report, Cyrus is said to have dated Victoria’s Secret model Stella Maxwell and actor Jared Leto, with whom she was reportedly involved in a sex-only relationship. Leto and the "We Can't Stop" singer even met at a hotel in West Hollywood, reports in November said.

“They don’t see each other that often but they’re in touch a lot… mostly just by text,” a source told Hollywood Life at the time, adding: “They send each other hot pictures too.”

The source also said: “It’s super casual but he’s more than just a hook-up buddy,” adding: “They genuinely care about each other.”

Hemsworth and Cyrus met in 2010 on a film set and by 2012 the couple decided to get engaged. However, due to several issues between the two, the relationship didn’t last.
