Miley Cyrus W Magazine Cover Unrecognizable: See ‘We Can’t Stop’ Singer’s Evolution from Twerking Star to High Fashion Model [PHOTOS]
Miley Cyrus, is that you? The 21-year-old superstar known for her wild transformation from a Disney darling into a twerking goddess has now evolved once again — this time into a high-fashion magazine babe. Seriously, not even Charles Darwin could keep up with this ever-changing songstress.
Cyrus debuted her unrecognizable new look for the cover of W magazine’s March 2014 issue, stripped down to show off her toned body. But despite all the exposed skin, we couldn’t help but focus on Cyrus’ face. For some reason, the pop singer didn’t quite look like herself.
With a platinum bob dripping wet — a la Beyoncé’s look at the Grammys — and eyebrows bleached blond, Cyrus pulled off a unique style we’ve never seen from her. And we have to admit, we kind of love it. It’s definitely refreshing to see the singer sporting something other than a sexy Santa costume for a change, isn’t it?
According to reports, the artists behind Cyrus’ new 'do were fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. After her uber-sexy makeover, the red carpet star then slipped into an oversized leather jacket as she exposed part of her breasts to the world. Hey, of course Cyrus has to remain scandalous! Other photos from the gallery of Cyrus include the singer basking in red light and of course her seriously sensual cover shot. Lounging in a sea of fluffy linens, the singer cuddles up to a pillow, wearing nothing but a slew of silver accessories up her arms.
So what does the former "Hannah Montana" actress have to say about the development of her style? Well, she encourages people to let their inner flair shine. “That’s not what it’s about," Cyrus said, encouraging girls not to compare themselves to the images of Hollywood. “It’s like personal style,” she continued, adding that her fans should just be themselves.
Now that’s one mantra Cyrus can definitely live up to.
