Miley Cyrus Wears ‘Liam’ Earrings She Bought Herself, Calls Fiancé A ‘Cheapskate’

Miley Cyrus is definitely in love with her fiancé, Liam Hemsworth. She recently even wore a pair of earrings with his name on it.

On Thursday, the singer performed her hit new single, “Malibu,” in New York. Prior to Cyrus’ performance for Nova’s Red Room Global Tour at the Dream Hotel Midtown, she was asked by Nova’s Kent “Smallzy” Small about the bling she wore that day, Daily Mail reported. “I noticed your earring right now says Liam,” asked Smallzy, who found the jewelry beautiful.

Cyrus quickly confirmed that her earrings do say her fiancé’s name, before implying that Hemsworth had no hand in them. “Thank you, I bought these myself, cheapskate!” she said jokingly.

The “Wrecking Ball” singer added that she was just kidding when she called her fiancé a “cheapskate.” She pointed out that one of her earrings reads “Miley,” while the other has “Liam” on it.

It was not the first time that Cyrus wore the accessories. According to Entertainment Tonight, when Cyrus gave her first live performance of her new single “Malibu” at 102.7 KIIS FM’s Wango Tango, she was also spotted showing off the trinkets. During the same event, Cyrus celebrated her mom Tish’s 50th birthday.

Aside from her bling, Cyrus was also asked about making a reality show. The “We Can’t Stop” songstress said she thinks it would be fun, but she was not sure if she actually wants to star in one because according to her, her family is insane. “I don’t know how many fans I would have left because my family is absolutely insane,” Cyrus said, as quoted by Daily Mail. “Actually like, yes and no, it would be very fun and I think people would have fun, but no because no.”

Cyrus added that she is enjoying her life at her beachside property in Malibu, California with Hemsworth. The couple stays there most of the time, but they often fly to Australia for family visits. And whenever they do, the two make sure that they have enough time to make their trip worthwhile. “I go back for all the family holidays and all that. It is a trek, but it’s worth it. So I try to go for big periods of time. When you’re taking a 20-hour flight to want to make it worth it,” Cyrus explained.

There are rumors that Cyrus and Hemsworth are planning to go on a romantic getaway during the Independence Day holiday. The couple will reportedly secretly tie the knot on July 4, according The Sun.
