‘A Million Little Things’ Season 2, Episode 17 Synopsis, What Happens In ‘One Year Later?’
He took his own life one year ago and changed their lives forever. Now, on the one-year anniversary of Jon’s death, the effect his death had on the ones he left behind will continue having ripple effects on all of their lives on “A Million Little Things.”
It has officially been a year since Jon (Ron Livingston) died by suicide on the ABC show, and so many secrets have been revealed amongst his friends and family since then—including his wife, Delilah’s (Stephanie Szostak) affair with Eddie (David Giuntoli) and the fact that Rome (Romany Malco) had also been struggling with depression and preparing to kill himself at the same time. Since then though, a lot of other stuff has happened as well and their lives have changed in so many ways. However, not everything has been for the better on Season 2, Episode 17, “One Year Later.”
“It’s the one-year anniversary of Jon’s death and everyone reflects on how much their lives have changed over the last year,” a synopsis for the episode reads.
While things have mainly been getting better in the group, some of them are still struggling though—with Gary (James Roday) pointing out to Eddie and Rome that he hasn’t seen that much change after all since he and Maggie (Allison Miller) split up.
“Congratulations, you both turned your life around,” he says in a promo for the episode (see above). “Me? Nothing’s changed.”
However, while, Eddie could be in a better place when it comes to his marriage and other elements of his life, something else could be on the horizon for him, especially as he dreams of an encounter with Jon—and potentially remembers a painful secret from his past that could change everything once again.
“For Eddie, his dream opens up a new mystery,” the synopsis says.
“A Million Little Things” airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. EDT on ABC.
