‘A Million Little Things’ Season 2, Episode 2 Synopsis: What Happens In ‘Grand Canyon?’
Some big changes have occurred in the lives of Jon’s family and friends with the arrival of Delilah’s baby and the big bombshell reveal that baby Charlie is actually Eddie’s daughter. However, with all the happiness that a new baby should bring, more drama will begin to surface in the newest episode of “A Million Little Things.”
Delilah (Stephanie Szostak) has come home with her new daughter and the group all banded together to help her get the nursery ready. However, as she welcomed the baby girl she conceived with Eddie (David Giuntoli) during their affair, he was forced to admit to Katherine (Grace Park) ahead of their reconciliation that the baby was his. Now, the fallout is going to continue from that secret in Season 2, Episode 2, “Grand Canyon.”
“Eddie manages to keep Theo (Tristan Byon) distracted in the midst of trying to track down Katherine,” the synopsis for the episode reveals.
Eddie previously tried to convince Katherine, who left and was hiding at her mother's to come home but was seemingly unsuccessful. Now, in a preview clip for the episode, it appears that as they try to put on a united front for Theo, she realizes she can’t pretend any longer—and if she flees again, it could be up to Eddie to try and make sure Theo still remains in the dark about the new problems his parents are facing.
However, that won’t be the only major moment that happens in the episode, as Gary (James Roday) and Maggie (Allison Miller), who are already struggling to adjust to their new cancer-free normal, are handed a surprise in the form of Maggie’s mom.
“Maggie realizes her mother’s surprise move to Boston might not just be for her,” the synopsis states.
In the preview clip, as her mother (Melora Hardin) reveals she had left Maggie’s father, it seems it could push Maggie over the edge, as she is then seen at a bar without Gary, while another man recommends a drink for her.
In addition, Regina (Christina Moses) and Rome Romany Malco) are also going to have some struggles. Though the couple has officially come to terms with their different feelings on having kids and Rome has decided to respect his wife’s wishes and remain childless, it doesn’t mean they won’t both still have other issues plaguing them. Specifically, Regina will have to deal with more problems at the restaurant, as Rome’s connection to PJ (Chandler Riggs) continues to grow—and may see the teen admitting he knows who Jon is.
“Meanwhile, Regina struggles with accepting Andrew’s ideas about the restaurant, and PJ makes a shocking confession to Rome,” the synopsis concludes.
How this will all play out as the new dramas continue to threaten everything the group has built since initially coping with Jon’s death remains to be seen.
“A Million Little Things” airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. EDT on ABC.
