Actress Minka Kelly and baseball star Derek Jeter have broken up their three years relationship, according to JustJared.

Minka's rep confirmed this news to PEOPLE. They care about each other and it was amicable, a source said. They're still friends.

Kelly, 31, the star of the upcoming reboot of TV's Charlie's Angels, and Jeter, 37, began dating from May 2008. They tried to keep their love low-profiled. This year, a rumor spread that they have been engaged. In July, Minka was seen in the stadium when Jeter got his 3,000th hit.

Jeter has a long history of dating pretty women, having been linked to Mariah Carey, Jessica Biel, Jessica Alba and Scarlett Johansson.
