Derek Jeter took some heat for taking a break instead of playing in Tuesday's All-Star Game - but it was hotter in Miami, where the Yankees shortstop visited his knockout girlfriend, Minka Kelly.

'Friday Night Lights' alum Kelly is in Miami filming the upcoming 'Charlie's Angeles' T.V. series. Despite her busy schedule, the Sexiest Woman Alive regularly attends Yankees games to cheer on her man. She was in the stands on Saturday when Jeter reached the 3,000 hit milestone.

Some MLB brass questioned Jeter's decision not to play ball.

Derek Jeter has done everything right during his whole career, an anonymous official told the Daily News. He was wrong on this one.

MLB commissioner Bud Selig disagrees, saying he has no problem with Jeter's decision, and that he would have made the same choice.

Minka Kelly recently discredited rumors that the couple was engaged and planning a hasty wedding. Although there are no wedding bells in the immediate future, we wouldn't be surprised if this happy, gorgeous couple eventually ties the knot.
