Miranda Kerr to Model Iconic $2.5 Million Victoria’s Secret Fantasy Bra (PHOTOS)

For the upcoming, much-anticipated Victoria's Secret 2011 fashion show, supermodel and VS Angel Miranda Kerr has been selected to model the diamond-studded iconic Fantasy Bra.
Typically, every year, a Victoria's Secret Angel is selected to wear a bejeweled bra coined as the Fantasy Bra. Although, initially, this bra was only showcased in VS catalogues, from the year 2001, the luxe lingerie brand decided to showcase it during their annual fashion shows.
Prior to this, other Angels who have donned these designer creations are Gisele Bündchen, Tyra Banks, Karolina Kurkova and Adriana Lima. In fact, supermodel, Heidi Klum has won the Fantasy Bra in three different years.
Among these creations, the 2000 Fantasy Bra worn by Gisele has set a record in The Guinness World Records for being the most expensive lingerie creation ever designed.
It's such an honor to wear the bra, PEOPLE magazine quoted Kerr stating. And it's such a piece of artwork! It's absolutely stunning - it kind of feels a little mermaid-like - but I can't believe I'm wearing $2.5 million on my chest.
PEOPLE also reported that the aqua push-up bra has been created in part by Long Island's London Jewelers, is handset with nearly 3,400 precious gems, including 142 carats of white and yellow diamonds, pearls, faceted citrines and aquamarines, all set in 18-karat white and yellow gold.
