Miranda Lambert Shares New Instagram Post About Boyfriend Anderson East, And It Involves Pigs
Now that the cat is out of the bag regarding country singer Miranda Lambert's new boyfriend, it doesn't appear she’s planning to hide their romance anymore. After confirming that she’s dating a new man after her very public divorce in 2015, Lambert posted another sweet shout out to her partner on social media Tuesday.
The 32-year-old performer confirmed rumors that she’s dating fellow industry star Anderson East last week when she posted a photo of herself cozied up to him under a blanket. The adorable photo came complete with the equally cute caption, “The snuggle is real…”
Following that, Us Weekly reports that Lambert took to her Instagram again, this time to give her new man a thoughtful, albeit unconventional, shout out. The sweet and loving reference in question, believe it or not, is actually a video of two pigs grazing in a field. East first posted the clip of two little pigs dressed in University of Alabama football jerseys in order to pump both himself and fans up for the Jan. 12 championship game against Clemson University. The video runs with the Lynyrd Skynyrd song “Sweet Home Alabama” playing in the background.
Lambert reposted the video soon after along with her very own caption referencing her new man. As the outlet notes, the singer quoted her own band, Pistol Annies, and their single “Boys from the South” by posting “Somethin’ bout a boy from the south.” The post came along with a small hashtag note from the singer mentioning that she’s a Texas-born girl, but would be rooting for Alabama in the game because of her new boyfriend. Fortunately for the new couple, their team won the game in question.
While Lambert seems to be in a good place at the moment, her ex-husband appears to be going through some more frustrating times. Country star Blake Shelton, who recently began dating his fellow “The Voice” coach Gwen Stefani, recently took to social media himself, but for significantly less adorable reasons. On Monday, the 39-year-old country crooner went on Twitter to go on a brief tirade against some of his followers. Apparently, he took issue with people spreading rumors about his, very public, personal life and blew off some steam on social media.
