Miranda Lambert is the new spokeswoman for the “got milk?” campaign. Lambert will be sporting the familiar milk mustache as part of the new ad campaign.

Lambert, the popular country singer, was seen sporting the milk mustache alongside a glass of milk and her acoustic guitar, reports Access Hollywood. The new “got milk?” campaign was announced at the headquarters of the Country Music Association in Nashville, Tenn.

The new campaign is centered around “The Breakfast Project,” according to a press release. In the new “got milk?” campaign, in addition to drinking milk, the ads are aiming to promote eating breakfast at home. Lambert is seen with a glass of milk and a bowl of cereal. The ad's tagline is: "Fine tune your morning. got milk? Nourish every day."

For Lambert, the ad, and the milk mustache was a no-brainer. According to Yahoo Music, she said, "I'm a girl from Texas and I grew up having big breakfasts with my family; milk was always on the table."

Lambert is married to Blake Shelton, country singer and host on “The Voice” and is nominated for four awards for the Country Music Association Awards. The CMA Awards will air Thursday.

The “got milk?” campaign started in 1993 as a TV commercial that later developed into a print campaign. The commercial that started it all involved a man trying to answer a radio trivia question for $10,000 while eating a peanut butter sandwich. The ad was directed by Michael Bay, director of the “Transformer” movies.

Lambert is just one of many famous faces to wear a milk mustache for the ads. Some famous mustaches include Angelina Jolie, Taylor Swift, David Beckham, Carrie Underwood, Heidi Klum, LeAnn Rimes, Trisha Yearwood, Susan Sarandon, Sheryl Crow, Miley Cyrus, Harrison Ford, Britney Spears, Batman, Superman and The Simpsons.
