Miranda Lambert Yells At Older Man, Dumps Salad On His Wife

Miranda Lambert appeared to have thrown a fit while she was dining in a Nashville restaurant last Sunday. The country musician was reportedly so angry that she dumped her salad on another customer.

TMZ revealed details on the heated exchange on Wednesday, saying that Lambert maintains she was provoked. According to sources, Lambert surprised restaurant staff and other clients when she walked over to another table and just dumped her salad onto another woman’s lap.

Law enforcement officers were called to the Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill because aside from Miranda’s questionable act, there had been a brawl involving two men. When police arrived, the singer had already left.

Moments before Lambert’s vile gesture, she was just casually enjoying dinner with her mom and their family friend. Insiders revealed that the fight initially involved Miranda’s friend and an “older man” from a different table.

Miranda’s buddy and the older man first argued inside the men’s restroom after the latter joked about millennials and their phones. This didn’t sit well with Lambert’s friend, and perhaps to Blake Shelton’s ex as well.

When the two returned to their respective tables, Lambert may have caught wind of what transpired in the restroom. The singer reached her boiling point when the old man rushed to their table and started yelling at them.

Eyewitness said they saw Lambert fighting back by mouthing off. However, she quickly decided to take matters into her hands and stormed over to the man’s table and retaliated on his wife.

The steakhouse did not respond to People when asked for comment. The entertainment news outlet also reached out to Miranda’s rep, but the latter did not comment on the issue.

Meanwhile, police confirmed an incident involving two men really happened at the steakhouse. They said that the brawl took place around 8 p.m. on Sunday. But they didn’t confirm Lambert’s involvement in the incident. They also disclosed that the older man did not press charges and no police report was filed.

The “Tin Man” singer is no stranger to controversy. She made headlines last November when she told the Washington Post that the only reason her collaboration with Jason Aldean, titled “Drowns the Whiskey,” peaked at No. 1 was due to the fact that she sang it with a man.

“I had to sing with someone with a penis to get a number one,” she said at the time. “It is interesting that I haven’t had even a Top 20 in a long, long time, and then it goes number one because it’s [with] a dude.”
