The tabloid claimed that Brendan wants to stay in New York City when Miranda starts her concert series early this year.

“Brendan loves her, but he misses his old life. He put his career on ice, and that’s been hard,” a source close to the police officer, allegedly, told the entertainment news publication. “They’re still newlyweds. She feels this is an important time for them to be together,” it went on.

However, amid the rumored disagreement between the couple, Miranda Lambert could not help but show off her husband to the world. In fact, the “Mama’s Broken Heart” singer posted a shirtless clip of Brendan McLoughlin on Instagram just a few days into 2020.

The video, which already garnered a total of 1.4 million views, featured the police officer preparing food in their kitchen while listening to the tune of Guns N Roses’ “Sweet Child O’ Mine” track. “Happy 2020 y’all! This is our last Friday night off for a bit! Starting rehearsals for the #Wildcard tour with @codyjohnson and @lancomusic,” Miranda wrote in the caption.

Miranda and Brendan spent the holidays in Texas this year, per HollywoodLife.com. The couple flew off to Maui for a vacation before they celebrated Christmas with the “Little Red Wagon” hitmaker’s family.
