Miss USA 2014: Meet The 51 Contestants Competing For The Crown [PHOTOS]
A bevy of beauties clad in bikinis and gowns will gather on Sunday for the Miss USA 2014 pageant where one lady will be chosen from the 15 semifinalists narrowed down from the 51 total contestants entering the pageant. The contestants from Alabama to Wyoming including Washington D.C. vying for the crown will be judged in three competitions—swim, evening gown and interview—at The Baton Rouge River Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
The 63rd annual pageant will air live on Sunday, June 8 beginning at 8 p.m. EST through 11 p.m. on NBC. The show is expanding to three hours for the first time ever, with an additional hour of footage of the contestants in their home environments, “making for a more personal glimpse of the women competing for the Miss USA title,” the organization said.
Musical guests Florida Georgia Line, Nelly and Marc Broussard will perform for the show while E! New host Giuliana Rancic and MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” personality Thomas Roberts will host. Judges for the competition include: Bob Harper, designer Betsey Johnson, Bravo star NeNe Leakes, “Hot in Cleveland” star Wendie Malick, “Duck Dynasty” actress Jessica Robertson, footballer Larry Fitzgerald, former WWE Diva Nikki Bella, correspondent Mo Rocca and singer Christina Milian.
Miss USA 2013 Erin Brady will crown the winner of the pageant Sunday.
The Miss USA competition is part of the Miss Universe Organization, owned by Donald Trump and NBC, since its creation in 1952 launched by Catalina Swimwear in Long Beach, Calif. Miss USA contestants must be between the ages of 18 and 27-years-old to compete and the winner goes on to compete in the Miss Universe pageant, which will be held in Russia this year for the first time ever.
Contestants in the pageant and in the Miss Universe Organization are expected to display “those characteristics in their everyday lives, both as individuals, who compete with hope of advancing their careers, personal and humanitarian goals, and as women who seek to improve the lives of others,” according to the Miss USA official website.
Meet the 51 contestants below and tune into Miss USA 2014 on Sunday, June 8 beginning at 8 p.m. EST through 11 p.m. on NBC (check your local listings for the channel).
