Missing North Carolina Teen: Police Seek Public Help In Finding 13-Year-Old Girl
Police in North Carolina have reached out to the public for help locating a missing teenage girl.
Faith Pellini, 13, went missing Saturday walking towards Moyock Elementary School in Currituck County, North Carolina, at roughly 5:15 p.m.
“Please keep an eye out as we try to locate Faith Pellini(pictured),” the Currituck County Sheriff’s Office posted on Facebook. “She is a 13 yr old last seen at her residence in Moyock today around late afternoon. If you have any information or possible sighting please call our office through communications at 252-232-2216. Thank you!”
Pellini was last seen leaving her home on Saturday. She was wearing a dark sweatshirt, shorts and was carrying a silver suitcase.
“Thank you to all our friends and family who are praying for us and getting the word out. We will update everyone when we have information,” mother Kim Pellini said in a Facebook message. “Please do not ask for details regarding the investigation. We know some but not all of the steps that are being taken. Rest assured that everything that can be done is being done. We love our daughter and we are desperate to get her back home safely. If you are the parent of any of her friends, please encourage your children to cooperate with law enforcement. Please help bring her home safe.”
Those with information about Pellini's possible whereabouts are asked to call the Currituck County police at (252) 232-2216.
Moyock, North Carolina, is a town of over 3,700 in the northeast portion of the state. It is roughly 25 miles south of Norfolk, Virginia.
