U.S. Army officials said Monday that military police are searching for a missing soldier that was stationed in Texas and is asking for the public’s help in locating her.

Pfc. Vanessa Guillen, 20, was last reportedly seen around 1 p.m. on Wednesday in a parking lot at Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas. The U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command issued a press release alongside a “Be on the Lookout” notice by Fort Hood officials saying an “extensive search” was underway by military and civilian police.

"Guillen was last seen on April 22 at 1 p.m. in the parking lot of her Regimental Engineer Squadron Headquarters, 3rd Cavalry Regiment on Fort Hood. Her car keys, barracks room key, identification card and wallet were later found in the armory room where she was working earlier in the day," said Criminal Investigation Command.

Guillen’s sister, Mayra Guillen, asked on Facebook to “help me find her” and shared a missing person’s poster of her sister.

Vanessa Guillen’s boyfriend, Juan Cruz, also took to Twitter asking for help.

Vanessa Guillen is described as Hispanic, 5-foot-2 and 126 pounds. She has black hair with brown eyes. She was last reportedly seen wearing a black t-shirt.

Army officials said anyone with information about Guillen’s whereabouts should contact Criminal Investigation Command agents or their local Military Police Desk.
