A man who attempted to rob a house in Mississippi was shot dead by the homeowner in broad daylight Tuesday.
The shooter reported the crime to the Pascagoula Police shortly before noon, said Fox News.

He then told authorities that he had shot an armed man who was about to invade his home, according to WXXV-25.
The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene.

Harrison County Coroner Brian Switzer said that he is working on the case due to a “conflict of interest” with the Jackson County Coroner's Office, added WXXV-25.
No charges have been filed against the homeowner.
