Is it hot in here or is it just us? Things are starting to heat up on Season 3 of the hit ABC series “Mistresses” and you can bet we’re feeling the temperature rising -- especially after witnessing the sizzling drama that went down in episode 4 of the summer soap.

During “Into the Woods,” Karen (Yunjin Kim) found herself sandwiched in between the Adams in one of the sexiest scenes we’ve seen on “Mistresses” to date. But apparently, that was only the tip of the sexy iceberg. According to Kim, Karen’s relationship with Vivian (Sonja Bennett) and Alec (Ed Quinn) will only intensify as the third installment progresses.

"Throughout the season, it's really about the love between the two women [and] she's very confused by it," Kim told TV Guide. "She's someone who's never had an experience with a woman, and not just a woman but also [her husband]. So it's going to get messy and clunky... and it doesn't settle until the very last episode."

But before it gets “clunky” it’s going to get hot, hot, hot! Episode 5, titled “Threesomes,” which is slated to air Thursday, will leave your small screen foggy as the steamy ménage à trois takes place.

A sneak-peek video for the forthcoming episode teases that the threesome will be so jaw-droppingly scandalous that mere flashbacks of the encounter will leave Karen unable to fully focus. While giving romantic advice during a group therapy session to married couples, Karen is continuously haunted by sensual flashbacks of her legs, lips and fingers intertwining with the Adams.

“An attentive partner never stops learning about their spouse -- exploring to find out who they truly are,” Karen says before reminiscing about her married friends simultaneously kissing her neck.

Looks like Karen could use a cold glass of water!

“Mistresses” will air Season 3, episode 5, “Threesomes,” on Thursday at 9 p.m. EDT on ABC.
