Things are getting so hot on “Mistresses” that the sizzling summer sudser needs to cool down with a two-week hiatus.

That’s right, the hit ABC drama will return with more scorching drama on Monday, June 20, when episode 3, titled “Under Pressures,” airs. So what can viewers expect when the installment makes its way back to the small screen? Well, the episode will kick off with Kate (Tabrett Bethell) continuing her search for a soul mate.

In episode 2, Harry’s (Brett Tucker) sister unveiled that she had called off the wedding with her cheating fiancé and was determined to find her one true love … in Los Angeles. Both Joss (Jes Macallan) and Harry weren’t too pleased with the idea but it looks like Kate is here to stay — that is, until the Aussie beauty realizes that “dating in Los Angeles is a little harder than she expected.”

But Kate won’t be the only one struggling in the relationship department. The promo video teases Karen (Yunjin Kim) and her hot manny (Jerry O’Connell) will also reach a rough patch in their steamy rendezvous when Robert starts commenting on Karen’s parenting.

“I really wish you would not [have not stopped] breastfeeding,” Karen’s employee/lover says to her, proving that nothing good can come from mixing business and pleasure.

Speaking of pleasure, April (Rochelle Aytes) will find a passion after her dreams of attending an elite painting fellowship are crushed. And low and behold, it will be Marc (Rob Mayes), according to the summary, who will be the one to help April uncover her new talent. While April attempts to navigate her new passion, Joss will continue her journey of trying to figure out how to move forward following the chaos that occurred in Season 3.
