‘Mistresses’ Season 4 Spoilers: Episode 9 Synopsis Released; What Will Happen In ‘The Root Of All Evil’?
Get ready for makeups, breakups and shake-ups when “Mistresses” airs episode 9 of the hit ABC series next Monday.
The Season 4 episode of the sizzling summer drama, titled “The Root of All Evil,” will kick off with April’s (Rochelle Aytes) malevolent mother (Lynn Whitefield) extending her not-so-welcome stay at her daughter’s house. The reason why we’re referring to April and Marc’s (Rob Mayes) home as solely April’s sanctuary is because April made the executive decision to let her mother reside at their pad in episode 8 without even consulting her man-child of a boyfriend.
According to the synopsis of the forthcoming installment, Majorie’s unwanted stay will put an even more intense rift on the duo’s relationship. But could Majorie’s stay force April to chose between her ailing mother and her musical man?
While April gets pulled in different directions, Karen (Yunjin Kim) will get dragged on a date when she learns her newest babysitter had created an online dating profile … with her picture as the main image! Next thing Karen knows, she’ll be meeting up with a guy for a date. But not just any guy. Karen’s suitor will be played by “Gilmore Girls” actor David Sutcliffe.
A promo video for the forthcoming episode teases that the two will sweat it out together during a cycling class. But will their high endorphins lead to a chemistry-filled cool down?
As Karen gets hot and heavy in her exercise class with her new beau, things between Joss (Jes Macallan) and Harry (Brett Tucker) will become heated as well. The summary reveals that Harry will become furious with his fiancée when he learns that Joss knew about Kate’s (Tabrett Bethell) rendezvous with Scott (Justin Hartley). Seriously, is there any episode that Harry isn’t upset with Joss? It seems like these two should just end their relationship — especially if Joss needs to takes pills to deal with the anxiety the sexy Aussie gives her.
“Mistresses” airs Mondays at 10 p.m. EDT on ABC.
