This summer is going to be a scorcher — especially with all the sizzling, hot drama set to go down in Season 4 of “Mistresses.” Fans of the hit ABC series were given a sneak peek at the impending chaos when the network released the first trailer for the upcoming installment Thursday night.

In the promo video, audiences learn the fate of Joss (Jes Macallan) who, when we last saw her in the Season 3 finale, was being held at gunpoint by Wilson (Jarod Joseph). But it looks like Calista’s (Jennifer Esposito) rogue assistant never pulled the trigger because fans can see Joss alive and well in the Season 4 promo video.

“Monday, May 30th, the truth comes out, the gloves come off and the summer couldn’t get any hotter, or could it?” the trailer teases, hinting that the summer’s biggest cliffhanger will finally be solved when “Mistresses” returns.

But one mystery will undoubtedly lead to another. Harry (Brett Tucker) can be heard telling Marc (Rob Mayes) that he has a secret that he’s been itching to get off his chest. What could Harry be hiding? Did have a fling when he went to Europe? Or did he meet up with Savi (Alyssa Milano), who disappeared after she caught her sister rolling around in the sand with her ex, when he went overseas?

Well, whatever it is, Harry and Joss will wind up back in one another’s arms come Season 4 — and Joss isn’t the only mistress getting some sweet loving! April (Rochelle Aytes) and Marc will finally become a full-fledged couple in the new installment while Karen (Yunjin Kim), who happens to be rocking a sleek, new hairstyle, will pique the interest of a hot newcomer (Jerry O’Connell).

“Mistresses” will air its Season 4 premiere on Monday, May 30, at 10 p.m. EDT on ABC.
