Model Kendall Jenner A Showstopper In White Wedding Suit By Chanel At Paris Fashion Event
Kendall Jenner ruled the runway at a Paris Haute Couture Week event Tuesday. The model showed up on the Chanel runway with a dramatically shorter hairdo and was almost unrecognizable. The edgy hairstyle paired perfectly with the modern-bride look she was modeling.
The model stunned on the catwalk in a jaw-dropping outfit. Jenner brought the Chanel show to a showstopping end. The star swapped her glamorous plunging gown from the Versace show for a white wedding suit by designer Karl Lagerfeld, according to Mirror UK.
The model wore the structured off-white satin suit from the fashion house’s latest collection. It included a tailored jacket with dramatic broad shoulders and slim-fit trousers. The chic two-piece ensemble featured a trailing semi-sheer cape. It had a large floral embellishment and highlighted the star’s incredible figure.
The 19-year-old paired white heeled boots and bright red lips to complete the runway look. Later, she joined Lagerfeld onstage and smiled before kissing him on the cheek. The American beauty was the showstopper at the Chanel Fall 2015 couture show after being hand-picked by the designer. At earlier shows, the prestigious position was usually given to Jenner’s friend Cara Delevingne.
It was Jenner's first solo bridal appearance in a fashion show. In December, she walked the runway as a joint bride with Delevingne in a Chanel show in Salzburg, Austria. Cara has made a solo appearance as a bride twice before. The Grand Palais was transformed into a casino for the show. The young fashion icon walked for a star-studded audience, including one of Chanel’s top fashion muses, Kristen Stewart, as well as Julianne Moore, Rita Ora and many others.
On Sunday, Jenner walked the runway at the Atelier Versace Show. The reality star hit the catwalk in an elegant plunging gown. It was an extremely beautiful dress, featuring a metallic material teamed with striking floral lace detail.
