Mohamed Salah’s net worth stands at $70 million. He achieved a milestone after being named 12th highest paid soccer player in 2019. Can he bring his team to Champions League glory once again?

The Liverpool striker is a man on a mission. After winning the Champions League last year, his club is on the hunt for a repeat. Liverpool sits atop the English Premier League standings with a comfortable 8-point lead against second place Leicester City. If all goes according to plan, Liverpool is on track to win a double this season.

Forbes ranks Salah 98th in the 2019 World's Highest Paid Athletes list, 12th among soccer players. With $25.1 million earnings as part of a five-year, $75 million contract he signed last year, there are only a handful of soccer players ahead of him in the list.

Salah is a winner on and off the field. He was instrumental in Liverpool’s back-to-back Champions League finals appearances and now, the team is gunning for consecutive titles this season. He also received the Golden Boot award twice. If he remains focused, he will likely receive a third Golden Boot trophy in as many years.

Aside from his massive club contract, the Egyptian forward makes millions from his endorsement deals. Adidas signed him on a long term deal, as well as Electronic Arts and Uber, per Forbes. He is well loved in his country and in the Muslim community. As his career blossoms, his global appeal has started to increase as well.

Although he remains humble on the field, he owns an impressive fleet of cars off it. He owns a Bentley Continental GT, Lamborghini Aventador, Audi Q7, Mercedes AMG GLE Coupe and Toyota Camry. The combination of the cars reflects his personality: speed and humility. The Continental GT is actually second to Range Rover in terms of popularity among soccer players. On the other hand, the Camry seemed out of place but it does its job which is fine with Salah.

He has been a finalist in the Ballon D’Or in 2018. This year, his name was again shortlisted in the highest individual award given to a soccer player. There are many things to be considered in order to win the Ballon D’Or such as goals, impacts to team, trophies won and votes from fellow players and football federations. With his fine play and likeable personality, Salah’s name will be linked to the award for many years to come.
