The highly anticipated Netflix series, "Money Heist," is all set to drop the first part of its fifth season Friday. One of its most popular characters, The Professor, played by Spanish actor Alvaro Morte, has teased fans by posting a photo taken on the set.

In the picture, Morte could be seen posing with some of the series' crew and cast members, including Esther Acebo, who plays Monica Gaztambide and Enrique Arce, who plays Arturo Roman.

"It's almost here. Almost. We met and could watch it today. And I just can say: OH, MY GOOOOOOD !!!!" the actor captioned the photo, which has so far garnered more than 700,000 likes.

Many celebrities took to the comments section to share their excitement and love for the series.

Luka Peros, who portrays Marseille in the show, liked the post and commented, "Proud to be a part of this family, baby."

Fernando Cayo, who plays Colonel Tamayo in the crime drama and was also featured in the photo, simply dropped red heart emojis in the comments.

Actress Aurora Carbonell commented, "Beautiful all! YOU WIN NOW !!!"

Meanwhile, writer David Victori noted, "To explode everything in the air!"

The series, originally titled "La Casa de Papel," first aired on the Spanish network Antena 3 in 2017. It wasn't an instant hit but it gradually gained popularity after being launched on Netflix.

The series broke records with the release of its fourth season in April 2020, receiving more than 65 million views on the platform until August 2021.

Morte spoke about the epic ending of the series in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that was released Monday, noting that Season 5 will be its final one.

"This situation generates chaos all around, and that develops into this huge battle because the first five episodes are completely warlike," Morte told the outlet. "Alicia shows up, and it's something the Professor never expected to happen."

"Everything around [them] falls apart because he was a man who has a plan for everything," he told the publication. "He needs to be more aggressive in his way of thinking."

The final season of the "Money Heist" will be released globally in two parts. Volume 1 will premiere at 3 p.m. ET Friday. Volume 2, on the other hand, will be available for streaming starting Dec. 3.
