Netflix has dropped a series of photos Friday from season 5 of the highly-anticipated crime thriller "Money Heist" on Twitter.

"Prepare for the final battle," the online streaming giant tweeted. "La Casa de Papel / Money Heist Season 5 Part 1 premieres September 3 and Volume 2 premieres December 3 — FIRST LOOK"

"La Casa de Papel" is a Spanish heist crime drama series, which is popularly known as "Money Heist" in the English-speaking world. Netflix tweeted two more photos in the same thread on Twitter and captioned, "Are you ready?"

In the first photo, actress Itziar Ituño, who portrayed Inspector Raquel Murillo, can be seen with other characters such as Tokyo, Rio and Denver. The cliffhanger of the fourth season featured Murillo's character entering the Bank of Spain after ditching the police.

Since the first look of the season dropped, fans shared their reaction on Twitter.

"Intelligent," one of the fans wrote. "Not showing Professor in promotional pics and keeping fans think that Alicia Sierra killed Professor after season 4 cliffhanger. Well played @netflix."

Another fan shared a theory about the characters' destiny and noted, "My theory all of them die. Tokyo the only survivor that’s why she narrating the story."

The 5th season will mark the finale of the crime series. The final season is divided into two parts -- the first one will premiere on Sept. 3 and the second one is slated for Dec. 3, this year.

The logline of season 5 explained, "The gang has been shut in the Bank of Spain for over 100 hours. They have managed to rescue Lisbon, but their darkest moment is upon them after losing one of their own. The Professor has been captured by Sierra and, for the first time, doesn’t have an escape plan."

The series stars Úrsula Coberó as Tokyo, Álvaro Morte as The Professor, Itziar Ituño as Lisbon, Pedro Alonso as Berlin, Miguel Herrán as Rio, Jaime Lorente as Denver and Esther Acebo as Stockholm.
