"Monster Hunter Rise" is the latest game from Capcom and it is packed with an array of monsters that players need to kill. Among them is the secret Elder Dragon Ibushi, who is actually one of the final bosses. Players looking for pro tips and tricks on how to unlock, hunt and defeat the Wind Serpent in The Rampage quest could use this guide.

How To Unlock And Hunt The Wind Serpent Ibushi

"Monster Hunter Rise" players will encounter Ibushi during The Rampage quest toward the final stretch of the game. In this quest, players must defend the entire Kamura Village from three waves of monsters. Unlike other monsters in the game, players need not look or hunt for the Wind Serpent. At some point during the fight, Ibushi will charge on the village from the sky.

How To Defeat Ibuki

Players need to prevent Ibushi from reaching the main gate, so they need to use the upper mines on the left side to run after the Wind Serpent and collect resources hidden within the shafts. Players will find themselves in another part of Kimura Village. This time, it is more open and it features several platforms that they could use. They need to activate as many cannons as they can while making sure that Ibushi does not get near the next major gate.

The Wind Serpent is vulnerable to fire, so players should set up the cannons that release fire attacks. If players are able to get close to Ibushi, they should try to land blows at her head, chest, arm and tail. To inflict heavy damage on Ibushi, players should target her wind sacs. These are concealed in her chest, arms, tail and arms.

At any range, the Wind Serpent is dangerous, so the key strategy here is hit and run. Players should be equipped with dragon, fire and water element weapons since Ibushi is weak on these elements. This way, they can inflict over 20 damage to the secret Elder Dragon.

The most damaging attack players could do is hitting the wind sac at the end of Ibushi's tail. It would be very helpful if players have a Palamute or Palico companion during the fight since they could stun Ibushi.
