'Morbius' Movie: Plot And Character Details 'Leak' Online

Details about the plot of “Morbius” have reportedly “leaked” online. The leak reveals details about some of the important scenes, including the opening shot, and it also reveals some of the important characters who will be featured in the movie.

According to the full plot leak of the upcoming film that has surfaced on Reddit, the movie begins with a scene of Dr. Michael (Jared Leto) winning a Nobel Prize for his medical research. The fans will then get some backstory of how Michael was bullied at school because he couldn’t walk.

Michael will become a successful man, but his disease will get worse and he will suspect that he doesn’t have long to live. He will hear about a cure that can be found in a cave in Brazil. In the cave, he will cut his hand and press it against a machine, which leads to bats swarming out and killing everyone in the helicopter outside.

The incident at the cave will transform Michael into a vampire in “Morbius.” The first action sequences in the movie shows the vampire killing of pirates on a ship.

According to CBR, some of the characters that the leak reveals are Adrian Toomes (Michael Keaton) from “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” Cletus Kasady (Woody Harrelson) from “Venom,” and Mac Gargan (Michael Mando). Some of the leaked photos from the production set and the trailer of the film suggest that the plot reveal is accurate, however, the fans are advised to treat it as a rumor at this time.

Reshoots of the movie are currently ongoing, Screen Rant reported. One of the leaked photos also confirms there will be a Spider-Man connection in the story.

“Morbius” is being directed by Daniel Espinosa. It will be released on July 31.
