KEY POINTS
- The smartwatch recently became available to consumers in the U.S. and Canada
- Moto Watch 100 comes with a new feature called Family Share via the latest update
- This watch is ideal for monitoring the health and fitness of vulnerable family members
Dubbed the most affordable smartwatch with fall detection technology and emergency alert feature and designed for vulnerable family members, the Motorola Moto Watch 100 has received a new update, making it feature-loaded.
The latest update rolled out to Moto Watch 100 was announced by Motorola's strategic brand partner eBuyNow eCommerce Ltd., which produces the product and has licensed the Motorola name for its smartwatch.
"This long term strategic partnership we are announcing with BellPal brings new and critical features to moto watch users, including fall detection, heart rate monitoring, and SPo2 monitoring for family members that need some extra care," eBuyNow CEO Craig Smith said in reference to the newly released update.
Along with this, the update also contains "the family sharing software" that "enables users to protect, connect, and communicate with loved ones to monitor them on a daily basis," the executive added.
Running on Moto OS that boosts the smartwatch's battery aside from its long battery life that lasts up to two weeks of full-time use from a 60-minute charge, Moto Watch 100 is water-resistant, designed with an aluminum case, a circular LCD and stylish silicone band that does not irritate the skin.
Moto Watch 100 is priced below $100 and offers sleep tracking, heart rate monitoring, weight tracking, SPO2 or blood oxygen level monitoring and 28 different sports modes.
The new smartwatch can be used with other devices as it smoothly integrates with Google Fit, a fitness app designed to act as a virtual coach to help users achieve goals.
It is also compatible with Android and iOS devices, allowing users to pair the smart wearable to their smartphone to access music.
Moto Watch 100 is ideal for monitoring the health and fitness of vulnerable family members, including those who live alone. With its family-sharing software, family members can manage the health of their senior or vulnerable loved ones, as well as track and monitor them in real time.
Moto Watch 100 will be with eBuyNow at this year's CES at the Motorola Life Booth #53760, the Venetian, Level 2, from Jan. 5 to 8, 2023.
The smartwatch was introduced in late 2021, but it was only recently that it has become available to consumers in the U.S. and Canada.
For only $99, Moto Watch 100 is loaded with useful health and fitness features available in other premium-priced smartwatches. Its wide range of functionality, daily updates and affordable price are some of the major factors that were considered when we decided to give the smartwatch our Best of CES 2023 Award.
