PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) said it has appointed Nick Secrett, who joins from Swiss Re to its Pensions Capital Management team.

MARTIN CURRIE INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT LTD

Martin Currie Investment Management Limited said it has appointed Alastair Barrie as global head of hedge fund sales and Clayton Cheek as U.S. head of hedge fund sales.

Barrie joins from RBS where he was director of institutional business, while Cheek previously worked for Man Investments.

GOVERNANCE FOR OWNERS

Governance for Owners said Simon Wong will join in mid-September as an executive partner and managing director. Wong was most recently head of corporate governance at Barclays Global Investors.

CHUO MITSUI TRUST INTERNATIONAL

Chuo Mitsui Trust International (CMTI), the global arm of Chuo Mitsui Asset Trust and Banking, said it has appointed Sophia Anderson as a manager focused on international sales of its asset management services.

Prior to joining Chuo Mitsui, Sophia worked for Macquarie Capital Securities.

DELOITTE

Deloitte said it has appointed Stacey Lax, an export control specialist to lead the firm's newly formed Global Trade and Customs practice.

BARING ASSET MANAGEMENT

Baring Asset Management said it has appointed Kommera Chakradhar Reddy as head of India Equities. Reddy was previously chief investment officer of ABN Amro Mumbai.

JUPITER ASSET MANAGEMENT
