Movies Coming Out In November 2017: 10 Release Dates And Trailers
With award season and the holidays almost upon us, Hollywood is gearing up to release of dozens of could-be blockbusters in November 2017. Before heading to the theaters, find out what’s releasing and watch the movie trailers below.
“A Bad Moms Christmas” - Nov. 1
If you thought they were bad during the school year, just wait until you see moms Amy (Mila Kunis), Kiki (Kristen Bell) and Carla (Kathryn Hahn) during the holiday season. The R-rated sequel will see Susan Sarandon, Cheryl Hines and Christine Baranski play the girls’ mothers. Watch the trailer above.
“Thor: Ragnarok” - Nov. 3
This film has been a long time coming for Marvel fans. The installment will follow Thor (Chris Hemsworth) as he teams up with Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) to defeat villain Hela (Cate Blanchett), who wants to destroy his home. The Hulk, played by Mark Ruffalo, also returns.
“Murder on the Orient Express”- Nov. 10
Based on the novel by Agatha Christie, a train full of passengers is examined by an investigator (Kenneth Branagh) after another passenger is murdered. The film, directed by Kenneth Branagh, is chock-full of A-listers including Johnny Depp, Raisy Ridley, Michelle Pfeiffer and Josh Gad.
“Daddy’s Home 2” - Nov. 10
Co-parenting has never been so funny. Moviegoers will be reunited with Brad (Will Ferrell) and Dusty (Mark Wahlberg) when their fathers, played by John Lithgow and Mel Gibson, respectively, arrive in town to spend the holidays with them.
“Justice League” - Nov. 17
The D.C. universe unites with this epic action film starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg and Jason Momoa as Aquaman. The heroes must work together in the Zack Snyder flick to fight a mutual enemy.
“Wonder” - Nov. 17
“Room” star Jacob Tremblay brings his acting chops to the big screen once again in this adaptation of the best-selling book of the same name. “Wonder” follows a boy named Augustus with facial differences as he attends mainstream school for the first time and deals with the struggles of being a kid. Julia Roberts, Mandy Patinkin and Owen Wilson also star.
“Roman J. Israel, Esq.” - Nov. 17
Denzel Washington stars as Roman Israel, an activist lawyer who helps shine light on the Los Angeles criminal court system. After he gets fired, he gets recruited by a fellow lawyer George (Colin Farrell) only to find himself in a dangerous crisis.
“I Love You, Daddy” - Nov. 17
A successful TV writer (Louis C.K.) becomes conflicted when a popular and much older filmmaker (John Malkovich) begins romancing his daughter China (Chloe Grace Moretz). The black-and-white film is also directed and written by C.K.
“Coco” - Nov. 24
An aspiring musician takes a journey through the Land of the Dead with the help of a skeleton named Hector. Benjamin Bratt, Anthony Gonzalez, Gael Garcia Bernal and many more stars lend their voices to the Disney/Pixar animated film.
“Darkest Hour” - Nov. 24
Gary Oldman is virtually unrecognizable as Winston Churchill in this biographical drama. The film follows Prime Minister Churchill in the early days of WWII.
