MTV Movie Awards Nominees: Who Will Win At The 2014 Show?
The MTV Movie Awards will be held a little earlier than usual this year: on April 13 at 9 p.m. ET. Slated to air on MTV, the awards show will be hosted by Conan O'Brien, who joked that he would rig the event so “Hunger Games” star Josh Hutchison would win every category.
This year’s live show will feature a special performance by Eminem and Rihanna. They’re hit song, “The Monster,” from “The Marshall Mathers LP 2,” hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Eminem and Rihanna will embark on their Monster Tour this summer, but the MTV Movie Awards will be the first time the two hip-hop stars will perform together on stage, according to reports.
The MTV Movie Awards includes 17 different categories this year, but what makes the event different from most other award shows is that the viewers will have had the opportunity to vote for their favorite actors and film. For those who haven’t voted yet, click here.
Like the Oscars and Golden Globes, the MTV Movie Awards has all the usual categories, like “best actor” and “best movie,” but also ones like “best kiss,” “best fight” and “#WTF moment.”
