Everyone who’s anyone descended upon Madison Square Garden in New York City, Sunday night to celebrate the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards — everyone except Taylor Swift, that is. Before the show kicked off viewers tuned in to catch up with their favorite musicians, actresses and more to get the scoop on their upcoming projects and, of course, find out what they were wearing.
Stars suited up in their wildest, most elegant, and eye-catching outfits and took to the red carpet for photos. Beyoncé stole the show with daughter Blue Ivy by her side, along with Kim Kardashian, Kanye West and Halsey, but there were plenty of other outfits worth talking about.
