MTV VMAs Nominees 2019: Full Nominations Refresher, Performers List Before August 26 Show

MTV’s Video Music Awards will once again honor the best of the best in the world of music during its 2019 show tonight (Aug. 26), airing live from the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.

Before getting to the main event, though, which will be hosted by comedian Sebastian Maniscalco, get all of the details on which artists, albums and songs nabbed nominations, as well as which fan favorites will be performing at the MTV event.

Here are all of the performers hitting the stage at this year’s show:

Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello, Jonas Brothers, Lizzo, Normani, Bad Bunny, Big Sean featuring A$AP Ferg, H.E.R., J Balvin, Lil Nas X, Ozuna, Rosalía and the 2019 Video Vanguard recipient Missy Elliott will all perform.

Fetty Wap, Naughty By Nature, Queen Latifah, Redman and Wyclef Jean are set to close the event with a show-stopping finale performance.

Plus, the red carpet pre-show, which starts at 7 p.m. EDT on MTV, will also feature performances by Ava Max, CNCO and Megan Thee Stallion.
