Director Rob Zombie introduced a new character from "The Munsters" on Instagram, noting that he already finished filming with her.

The 57-year-old director revealed actress Catherine Schell portrays Zoya Krupp's character in the upcoming movie. Zombie posed with the actress for a photo that he posted on Wednesday. In the photo, the actress can be seen wearing a headscarf and golden jewelry around her neck.

"That’s a picture wrap on our new Munster pal CATHERINE SCHELL aka ZOYA KRUPP," Zombie captioned the post. "Welcome to our new world of Gods and Munsters."

Fans shared their excitement for the upcoming reboot of a popular sitcom of the same name.

"Amazing !!! Can’t wait for this movie Rob and Co. !!!" a fan wrote while another one shared, "I'm going to have so much fun watching." One user commented, "OMG Catherine Schell is amazing!!! I cannot wait to watch."

Zombie has been regularly sharing updates on Instagram regarding the movie's development.

He previously shared a picture of actor Sylvester McCoy, who portrayed Igor's character in the highly anticipated flick.

"After another long night of shooting on THE MUNSTERS it’s a wrap on our new pal Sylvester McCoy!" he captioned the post last month. "I know you are going to love him as IGOR. He a perfect addition to our crazy new world of Gods and Munsters."

Zombie also shared the first look of the werewolf brother named Lester and revealed actor Tomas Boykin will play the popular character in the upcoming movie.

The director has also earlier revealed that actor Jeremy Wheeler will be portraying Mr. Gateman by sharing a behind-the-scenes photo featuring three key characters –Herman, Lily and Grandpa, played by Sheri Moon Zombie, Jeff Daniel Phillips and Daniel Roebuck respectively.

The original sitcom was released in 1964 and it featured a family that consists of a father named Herman who looked like Frankenstein's monster, while Lily and Grandpa were vampires. Herman and Lily shared a son named Eddie, who was a werewolf.

The reboot is going to feature the same characters. The filming of the movie began in July 2021 and it is slated to release this year.
