‘My 600-LB Life’ Season 8 Stars Where Are They Now? Alicia And Pauline Update
When viewers tuned into “My 600-LB Life” Season 8 on Wednesday night, they were reunited with former subjects, Alicia Kirgan and Pauline Potter. According to Facebook updates from the cast members, it appears both women have been able to continue their weight loss journeys under Dr. Nowzaradan.
When viewers met Alicia during Season 6 of the TLC series, she was 622 pounds. However, after four years of being under Dr. Now’s care, she was able to lose 366 pounds.
Like other weight loss journeys, Alicia has had her fair share of struggles. In a recent Facebook post, she opened up about an issue she had with the editing on the show.
In a photo, flaunting her weight loss, Alicia addressed a scene on the show in which, her boyfriend Tim appeared to be unsupportive.
In the episode, Tim told Dr. Now that Alicia has become a “little mouthy” since she lost the weight. loss. In the Facebook post, Alicia explained that the conversation was manipulated by production edits.
“This man is and always has been nothing but loving and supporting! It really is amazing how easily they are able to completely flip the script,” she wrote.
“Honestly, I don’t care at all what is said or thought about me, but Tim made so many sacrifices and worked so hard to make this possible, just to have his name and image dragged through the mud in the name of profit. It is really shameful,” she added.
Meanwhile, Pauline, who was a compulsive eater, weighed 700 pounds when she was first introduced to “My 600-LB Life” viewers. After being under Dr. Now’s care, she has lost 400 pounds and qualified for skin removal surgery.
Pauline continues to shed the pounds and keeps fans up to date on her weight loss journey through her YouTube channel and Facebook page.
