'My Hero Academia' Chapter 289 Spoilers, How To Read It Online: Deku And Bakugo's Current Condition

The Paranormal Liberation War arc is at its peak as the heroes continue to battle against the League of Villains. The new chapter is a few days away from its release, but the latest spoilers for "My Hero Academia" Chapter 289 are out.

Twitter user Atsushi shared the rumored title of the upcoming chapter along with spoilers. "My Hero Academia" Chapter 289 is titled "Akesuke-chan and Shikmattoku-chan," Atsushi tweets.

Spoilers shared by Twitter user redandblonde420 hints at Bakugo and Izuku Midoriya or Deku's terrible conditions on the battlefield. Apart from Shigaraki, Deku, Endeavor and Bakugo's segment, the chapter will also showcase Toga and Ochako's storyline.

It is likely "My Hero Academia" Chapter 289 will pick things from the last chapter's cliffhanger moment between Ochako and Toga.

"My Hero Academia" Chapter 288 recap

The heroes are preparing to battle against Gigantomachia, who is heading toward Nabato City at a terrifying speed. To make matters worse, the giant villain is tearing apart buildings on his way, resulting in more destruction.

In the meantime, Skeptic notes that the heroes are close to Gigantomachia. The League of Villains is closely monitoring the heroes on the ground using satellites.

Later, Mr. Compress and Skeptic spot Froppy and Ochako moving through the town. Toga also happens to spot them and asks Mr. Compress to give her the gear.

She later follows Ochako on the ground. Toga transforms into an old lady and lures Ochako into an alleyway. The old lady screams her husband's name as Ochako decides to help the couple.

However, Toga returns to her original form and ambushes Ochako. The villain reveals that she wanted to talk to Tsuyu too as she is her cute and precious friend.

In addition, Toga confesses that she likes it when Deku is all beaten up. She goes on to compliment Ochako. At this point, Ochako is confused and angry as Toga killed an innocent old lady for the silly conversation.

A Toga-Ochako fight is imminent as the "My Hero Academia" returns with Chapter 289 after a one-week hiatus.
