The new English dub trailer for “My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising” was released by Funimation and Sony Pictures Entertainment. Fans of the anime get a glimpse of Nine, Slice and other villains in the trailer.

Shota Aizawa, the homeroom teacher of Class 1-A at U.A. High School, informs the class that they will be stationed on Nabu Island in southern Japan. He tells the heroes that while they are there they will be completely on their own.

Aizawa warns that no teachers or pro heroes will be available to back them up if things go south. Nabu Island is a fairly peaceful place and known for its scenic beauty. Izuku Midoriya “Deku” is psyched about going to the island as this will be their first real mission. The island residents are counting on Class 1-A for protection against evil forces.

In “My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising” Deku, Katsuma, Mahoro and others can be seen having a good time on the island. However, it looks like they don’t have any real villains to fight off. Just when they thought this is the most peaceful place on Earth, Nine and his evil forces arrive.

The League of Villains has transported a mysterious villain named Nine. According to Nine, the way to achieving his ideal world is on Nabu Island. He will be accompanied by Slice who is her close aid. She has massive trust issues after she was betrayed in the past. However, she stands by Nine’s philosophy and ideals.

“Class 1-A visits Nabu Island where they finally get to do some real hero work. The place is so peaceful that it’s more like a vacation … until they’re attacked by a villain with an unfathomable Quirk! His power is eerily familiar, and it looks like Shigaraki had a hand in the plan. But with All Might retired and citizens’ lives on the line, there’s no time for questions. Deku and his friends are the next generations of heroes, and they’re the island’s only hope," released by Funimation.

“My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising” hits the U.S. theatres on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2020.
