'My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission' US Release Date Announced

Deku, Bakugou, Shoto Todoroki and the other heroes are coming to the big screen. Funimation is bringing "My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission" to theaters in the U.S. this October.
Funimation will release "My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission" in the U.S., U.K., Canada and Ireland on Oct. 29. The movie will hit the theaters in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa on Oct. 28.
The Entertainment company is also planning to release it in Chile, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Peru and Scandinavia, but the date is yet to be confirmed.
The movie will hit the screens in two formats – English subbed and English dubbed – in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Ireland, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. Tickets for "My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission" go on sale from Oct. 1.
"A mysterious group called 'Humarize' strongly believes in the 'Quirk Singularity Doomsday Theory', which states that as quirks get mixed together in with future generations, that power will bring forth an end to humanity. They believe that quirks are a disease and aim to cleanse the world of anyone who possesses quirks," read the synopsis of "My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission" movie.
The superhero anime movie is based on the original works by Kōhei Horikoshi, who is also the original character designer and chief supervisor. Kenji Nagasaki is the director, while Yousuke Kuroda is in charge of the script and screenplay.
Yoshihiko Umakoshi is serving as the chief animation director, along with a team of animation directors including Atsushi Hasebe, Yui Hayashi, Noriko Morishima and Fumina Nishino. The music for the movie is composed by Yuki Hayashi.
The cast of "My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission" includes Daiki Yamashita as Izuku Midoriya, Yuuki Kaji as Shōto Todoroki, Nobuhiko Okamoto as Katsuki Bakugō, Junya Enoki as Serpenters, Hirofumi Nojima as Allan Key, Takumu Miyazono as Salaam, Yuichiro Umehara as Sidero, Yūichi Nakamura as Hawks, Youko Honna as Clea Voyans, Tetsu Inada as Endeavor, Shogo Sakata as Leviathan, Shogo Sakata as Leviathan, Ryō Yoshizawa as Rody Soul, Megumi Hayashibara as Pino, Mariya Ise as Belos and Kazuya Nakai as Flect Turn.
