'My Universe': BTS And Coldplay Reveal Release Dates Of Collab Single, Remixes, Documentary

BTS and Coldplay have finally unveiled the release dates of their first collab single, "My Universe," the song's remixed versions and the documentary about the joint project.

The track, which will be sung in both English and Korean, will drop with an official lyric video at midnight ET Friday as per Billboard.

Coldplay will also release a documentary, reportedly titled "Inside My Universe," on the collab project Sunday, 8 a.m. ET, according to Atlantic Records, the band's American label.

In addition to this, two more versions of the track — a Supernova7 mix and an acoustic version — will be available on the same day at 7 p.m. ET.

An official music video of the song will also be released, though the teaser did not indicate its official release date.

Atlantic Records shared an image containing the aforementioned release dates via Twitter Wednesday.

"Here are the upcoming My Universe dates!" the record label wrote. It also tagged Coldplay, BTS and Big Hit in the post.

BTS' official handle retweeted the said announcement.

Prior to the announcement, Coldplay released a short clip from the song via Twitter.

"And they said that we can't be together…" #MyUniverse // Coldplay X BTS // Out Friday // https://coldplay.lnk.to/MyUniverse // // @BTS_twt @bts_bighit," its caption said.

Coldplay dropped the first teaser for "My Universe" earlier this month, baring its release date and encouraging fans to pre-order their copies.

BTS also posted a photo of its members with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin on Sept. 14, hinting at a collab between the two groups.

"It's coming," it wrote in the caption, in which Martin's group was also tagged.

A week later, Coldplay tweeted a clip of Martin singing with the Bangtan Boys while wearing a BTS crew hoodie.

The British rockers shared another photo with the K-pop group Wednesday. The post only had two heart emojis as its caption.

Ahead of the single's official release, "The Kelly Clarkson Show" tweeted a sneak peek of Martin singing a portion of "My Universe" on the show's set. The said episode will air Friday.

"Sneak peek! Tune in FRIDAY Sept. 24 to see Chris Martin perform the new Coldplay X BTS song #MyUniverse!" the tweet read.

BTS fans, collectively known as "ARMY," and Coldplay supporters join forces as they come up with streaming parties dedicated to the highly anticipated track.

"Coldplay x BTS fans are teaming up to host daily streaming parties starting Friday Coldplayers and ARMY are hoping for My Universe to clinch that #1 chart position in the UK (and other spots across the world). Here's the times and guides for the UK party's #MyUniversePartyUK," a Coldplay fan account said in a tweet.

"My Universe" will be sold as a limited-edition two-track CD single, Soompi said, citing purchase information. Its two tracks are "My Universe" and the song's instrumental version. Its inside cover will include a reproduction of handwritten lyrics by BTS and Coldplay.
