For some, tweeting can result in some regrettable behavior (just ask Chrissy Teigen) but for "Nailed It" host Nicole Byer, it helps enact change.

The host took to Twitter Tuesday night to express how she felt regarding the thumbnail picture that appeared for the Netflix hit show "Nailed It", which she hosts. One of her since-deleted tweets read, "If Netflix didn't sign my checks and give me a huge platform and opportunity to showcase my comedy. I would talk about how [explicitive] up and disrespectful this is to me a black woman. Also how black women are a lot of times erased from many different conversations."

The thumbnail in question includes two white men from the show -- judge Jacques Torres and assistant director Weston Bahr (whom Byers calls Wes on the show) -- but nowhere is the host, Byer, who is black. Byer became aware of the "Nailed It" thumbnail when another Twitter user mentioned it to her, E! News reports.

But, the tweets didn't stop there. The podcast host and actress also released the following since-deleted tweets that stated, "I would talk about how it makes me know my true value as the host of the show where I work incredibly hard to elevate the material given to me. Lot of moments people love are improvised."

She continued, "I would talk about how this essentially whitewashing for more views. But they sign my checks and I'm honestly so happy and greatful [sic] to and for the show and no sarcasm I love my job and wish to keep it so I'll be quiet."

It didn't take long for Byer to get a resolution. And, in the same matter in which the issue began, she ended it with a tweet, explaining, "I deleted my last set of tweets bc I talked to one of the execs on my show about it and the thrilling conclusion is the removal of the image and a conversation about how the thumbnails are made and selected that I'm happy with."

"Nailed It" is a reality bake-off competition show where three novice bakers compete to recreate bakes good for a $10,000 prize. The series has four seasons total which includes one seasonal special. Aside from hosting the hit show, Byer also hosted MTV's "Are You The One?" aftershow, along with the "Why Won't You Date Me?" podcast. Byer also starred in a scripted comedy show "Loosely Exactly Nicole" that aired on MTV and Facebook Watch.
