Naked Woman Arrested For Allegedly Skinny-Dipping In 69-Year-Old Stranger's Pool

A 42-year-old woman was arrested earlier this week after she allegedly trespassed on an elderly retiree's Charlotte County, Florida home and told authorities to leave her alone as she stayed in his pool, police documents showed.

Authorities arrested Heather Kennedy after she allegedly trespassed into the Port Charlotte residence of 69-year-old James Clark and decided to swim naked in his pool Monday, The Smoking Gun reported, citing an arrest report.

According to police, Clark returned home from a doctor's appointment in the afternoon and noticed there was clothing placed in the lanai by the pool, which he recognized did not belong to him. He looked around and allegedly found Kennedy naked in the pool.

Police arrived shortly before 3 p.m. and attempted to make contact with Kennedy while she was still in the pool, but she allegedly did not want to identify herself or explain why she was there.

Additionally, Kennedy was allegedly hostile toward law enforcement personnel and told them to leave her alone, according to the report.

Authorities attempted to arrest Kennedy after she dressed, but the woman allegedly attempted to resist and pulled away when both of her arms were grabbed, police said.

"[Kennedy] was also saying to leave her alone and how she was not going anywhere. She continued to refuse to identify herself several times," police said.

Police were able to handcuff Kennedy and transported her to the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office jail, where she was booked on one count each of misdemeanor trespassing and resisting without violence, according to the report.

Kennedy is scheduled to appear in court for her arraignment on Aug. 4.

Court records listed Kennedy's residence as a private home approximately 2 miles away from where she was arrested, according to the outlet.

Kennedy had been convicted earlier this year on a felony narcotics possession charge and a misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia count, The Smoking Gun report said.

Authorities arrested Kennedy following a traffic stop that yielded morphine pills and marijuana as well as crack and meth pipes. She denied ownership of the pills and claimed they were the property of "a male by the name of Crackhead Chris," according to a police report.
