A UFO expert claimed to have spotted a reptile-looking alien creature on Mars. According to the expert, the alleged creature may have lived alongside the intelligent race of alien beings that lived on the Red Planet.

Claims about an alien creature on Mars was made by Scott Waring of ET Data Base. Waring said he came across the image of the alleged alien as he was going through the photos on Gigapan, a website that features images of Mars that were taken during NASA’s various missions.

The photo that caught Waring’s attention was captured by NASA’s Curiosity rover. According to the details of the photo, it was taken on SOL 1448, which is equivalent to Sept. 1, 2016, on Earth.

The photo features a massive mound on Mars filled with different sized rocks. As Waring was viewing the photo, he spotted a strange-looking object near the left side of the image. After zooming in on the image, Waring said he saw what appeared to be an alien creature on Mars.

“While looking through Sol 1448 of Mars, I noticed a strange creature on the hillside. The object seems to be a species of lizard, but unlike anything we have here on Earth. This creature has massive hind legs and two front thinner legs,” he stated in a blog post.

Based on its appearance, the alleged creature looked like a desert horned lizard, which can be commonly found in the dry regions western North America.

Although it looked like a reptile from Earth, Waring noted that it had six legs based on the photo. It also had certain features that were similar to those of certain mammals.

“Six legs in total,” he stated. “The animal has a short reptile-like tail that curls at its end. The head of the creature is more similar to that of a mammal than a reptile. Its tall ears bent forward like a dog's, its long snout area and thick mouth area also similar to that of a dog.”

According to Waring, like cats, dogs and certain reptiles on Earth, the alleged creature could be a member of a species that was kept as pets by Martians.
