NASA Photo Captures Alleged 'Metal Statue' On Mars, UFO Expert Claims

A UFO expert claimed that NASA accidentally photographed a metal statue on Mars. According to the expert, the image proves that intelligent alien civilizations once lived on the Red Planet.

The strange sighting was made by Scott Waring of ET Data Base. He said he spotted the image of the alleged statue while he was browsing NASA’s Photojournal site, which contains various photos from the agency’s previous missions.

As Waring was visiting the site, he came across a photo that was taken by the Curiosity rover during its first couple of months on Mars. According to the details of the photo, it was taken by the rover on SOL 120, which is equivalent to Dec. 7, 2012 on Earth. It features a rocky region in Mars’ Gale Crater known as Shaler.

As Waring was going through the photo, he came across an object that appears to be lodged between the massive walls of a ridge. After he zoomed in on the object, Waring noted that it looks like a sculpture or a statue of a figure.

The UFO expert stated that it had various features such as a head, a long robe and limbs. Based on the appearance of the object, Waring believes it was made of a precious metal such as copper or gold. Interestingly, the overall appearance of the object is very different from is surroundings. For Waring, this indicates that it could be an artificial object.

“While looking over some Mars photos, I came across a strange figure hidden in the lower part of a hillside,” he stated in a blog post. “The figure looks like it’s made of copper or golden metal. I know this because the color is very different from the color of its surroundings.”

According to Waring, the object could be a statue of a highly regarded figure on Mars. For the UFO expert, it proves that an advanced civilization once lived on the Red Planet.

“This was probably a god...a statue of a god that the people on Mars prayed to for protection,” he stated. “The statue itself has a head, a thick chest with a long robe covering it...a large book or shield on one arm.”

It is important to note that there is no solid proof supporting the UFO enthusiast's claims and these should be taken with a grain of salt.
