A UFO expert claimed that a photo taken by NASA on Mars showed the remains of a sculpture made by an ancient alien civilization. According to the expert, the alleged sculpture proves that the alien race that once thrived on the Red Planet resembled humans.

The image of the alleged alien sculpture was spotted by Scott Waring of ET Data Base. He said he came across the photo as he was browsing Gigapan, a website that features high-quality panoramic photos of Mars and the Moon.

According to the details of the photo, it was taken by NASA’s Opportunity rover as it was exploring the Martian surface. Based on the image, the object looks like a detailed sculpture of a head. Through photo editing software, Waring was able to highlight certain prominent facial features of the object such as the lips, nose, eyes, jawline and cheeks.

“I was searching a Mars photo and found this face smack in the center of it,” Waring stated on a blog post. “The face really looks human-like. It has a chin, upper and lower lips, nose, nose nostrils, eye, brow, hair or hat, cheeks and jawline. It just seems so old.”

For the UFO expert, the object may have come from a statue that was created by a race of intelligent extraterrestrial beings on Mars thousands or even millions of years ago. It was most likely made using the natural materials available on the Red Planet.

According to Waring, the strange object is definitive proof of the existence of an ancient alien race on Mars. If the image of the statue was made based on the likeness of a member of the alien civilization, Waring noted that this could mean that the extraterrestrial beings that once lived on the Red Planet slightly resembled humans.

“Sure it’s a sculpture made from the materials there, but maybe this object was smooth and beautiful when it was made, but over thousands or millions of years degraded,” Waring explained. “This is 100% proof that not only did intelligent aliens exist on Mars, but...they looked similar to humans.”
