A UFO expert claimed that a photo taken by NASA on Mars shows a sculpture of an alien head and face. The expert said the strange object could be part of a large statue that once stood on the Red Planet.
The claim about an alleged ancient alien sculpture on Mars was made by Scott Waring of ET Data Base. According to Waring, he saw the image of the mysterious object while he was going through NASA’s archive photos.
Some of the photos he was viewing were taken by the agency’s Spirit rover. NASA officially launched this rover in 2003 to explore Mars. For about seven years until it ran out of energy, the Spirit rover roamed across the Martian surface to study and take photos of its surroundings.
One of the photos that caught Waring’s attention was taken by the rover on SOL 1356, which is equivalent to the date Oct. 27, 2007, on Earth. Similar to the other photos captured by Spirit, the image rocks with different shapes and sizes scattered across the desert-like landscape.
However, as noted by Waring, the photo actually contains various that could be ancient relics from an earlier time. The UFO expert believes these objects were left behind by the alien civilization that once lived on Mars.
One of the objects that Waring spotted was an alleged sculpture of an alien face. Based on the image, Waring was able to identify several facial features on the object such as the eyes, nose and mouth.
“The face is obviously made of the local materials and you can make out the eye, nose, upper and lower mouth, chin, cheeks but something that really is rare...is that this face has a thin horn-like fin on top of its head,” Waring wrote in a blog post.
As noted by the UFO expert, the object could be part of a large statue that depicted the whole body of an ancient alien creature. Unfortunately, since there are no signs of the statue in the photo, Waring believes this may have already been destroyed.
“The neck area appears to be a plug that pushed into the main part of the statue at the shoulders,” he stated. “However, I cannot find the rest of the statue in any of the photos. Perhaps it was buried or destroyed.”
