Nasdaq dips, Dow pares gain, S&P flat
Technology shares slipped while the Dow industrials trimmed its gain and the S&P 500 was flat on Friday, with Apple
Apple's stock has lost ground since its gains on Wednesday when it unveiled the iPad tablet device.
The Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> was up 20.18 points, or 0.20 percent, at 10,140.64, off its session high at 10,239.34. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index <.SPX> was down just 0.54 of a point, or 0.05 percent, at 1,083.99, after earlier climbing as high as 1,096.45. The Nasdaq Composite Index <.IXIC> was down 7.66 points, or 0.35 percent, at 2,171.34. Earlier, the Nasdaq rose as high intraday as 2,202.84.
