It seems all the country singers are leaving Nashville for the week. Jade (Christina Aguilera) will show her Music City friends around Malibu, but things might get a little too crazy in “Nasvhille” Season 3, episode 20. Meanwhile, Rayna (Connie Britton) will travel in search of a cure for Deacon’s (Charles Esten) cancer, according to the synopsis, but they’ll have to deal with some unpleasant memories along the way.

After Deacon lost the opportunity for a transplant, Rayna will do anything to save him. She’ll go all the way to Natchez, Mississippi, to find some help for Deacon. “We learn how her past with him affects his life-and-death struggle today,” the synopsis teases. Could this mean more ‘90s flashbacks? The couple has had quite a past together, and we might see more from when Deacon was an alcoholic (which is what he blames for his liver cancer).

Jade will not be having such an emotional trip. She’ll head out to California and bring Luke (Will Chase), Jeff (Oliver Hudson) and Layla (Aubrey Peeples) “to her beachfront bash in her home in Malibu, which turns into an all-night rager,” according to the synopsis. The last time Jeff and Layla were at a rager, Layla tried to kill herself. Hopefully, this party won’t end in a trip to the hospital, but with Jade, Jeff’s ex, involved, there is sure to be some drama.

Back in Nashville, there will be some baby mama drama. New mom Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) “tries to jump-start her career with a last-minute rooftop concert,” so it looks like she’ll still be avoiding her new baby. Speaking of mothers, Kylie (Alexa PenaVega) is coming back to town for the first time since lying to Gunnar (Sam Palladio) and telling him that he was her son’s father. She’ll have “news that changes everything,” but could it be enough to make Gunnar forgive her?

That’s not the end of the parental drama. In the promo video, it looks like Deacon will find his daughter Maddie (Lennon Stella) in a very compromising position with her boyfriend Colt (Keean Johnson).
