'Nashville' Season 3 Spoilers: Episode 21 Synopsis Released Online; What Will Happen In 'Is The Better Part Over'? [PHOTOS & VIDEO]
Could a certain country star finally be coming out of the closet? In “Nashville” Season 3, episode 21, Will (Chris Carmack) is going to have to deal with the possibility that he may not be in the closet forever. Someone will try to out him, according to the synopsis for "Is The Better Part Over," but will the singer be able to handle it?
Will’s new relationship with Kevin (Kyle Dean Massey) will be discovered by the tabloids in episode 21, and it couldn’t come at a worse time. “Will is surprised with an unexpected visit from his father,” the synopsis teases. He has mentioned to Kevin that he didn’t always have the best relationship with his dad, so the Lexington family patriarch might not be very accepting of his sexual orientation. Can Will find the courage to come out to his father before the tabloids beat him to the punch? Or will the singer find a way to stop the gossip rags from printing the story?
Elsewhere, Deacon (Charles Esten) is going to publicly announce that he has cancer since it doesn’t look like he’ll be getting better anytime soon. “He and Rayna (Connie Britton) grapple with the future and the real possibility that their time together will be cut short,” the episode 21 summary says. Does that mean Rayna paid Beverly (Dana Wheeler-Nicholson) one million dollars and Deacon’s sister still refused to give him part of her liver? The country veteran cut a check to Beverly in the hope that money would change her mind. Paying for organs is very illegal, so let’s hope Beverly doesn't tell the authorities.
Meanwhile, Juliette’s (Hayden Panettiere) family will finally realize that something is wrong. The country starlet has been focused on getting her career back, but she’s been completely disinterested in her baby. After her comeback performance on the Highway 65 Records rooftop, Juliette will be feeling better than ever about her career, and Avery (Jonathan Jackson) will realize that it wasn’t just losing her job that worried her. “While she enjoys the attention, her team has growing concerns that she may be suffering from postpartum depression,” reads the synopsis. However, Juliette might not share their concern. In the trailer below, it looks like she wants to kick Avery out.
